Challenges

The store’s open, modern layout presented challenges in achieving optimal sprinkler coverage without compromising the aesthetic appeal. Additionally, integrating the new system with existing infrastructure, including lighting and display features, required careful planning. Ensuring compliance with strict fire safety regulations was also a key priority.

Our Solution

Fire Protection BIM was chosen to provide a precise 3D model of the sprinkler system. This enabled the accurate placement of sprinklers within the store’s complex design, ensuring maximum coverage without disrupting the space’s visual appeal. The system was seamlessly integrated with the store’s existing infrastructure, maintaining both functionality and design integrity, while fully complying with fire safety regulations.

Results

The project was completed on time and within budget, with the new sprinkler system now fully operational. Zara’s fire protection has been significantly enhanced, and the installation process had minimal impact on store operations, preserving the customer experience.
